Thankful Thursday

One month has gone by so fast. I am so thankful that my parents spent this much time with us. I truly appreciate their being here - it's just nice being in their presence. They are scheduled to fly back to California on Saturday.

My family and I spent the weekend at Longwood Gardens. It rained on Saturday, but the sun was out on Sunday. Here are a few pictures.

Hello friends, I thought of you today.
... when I walked on the trail with my parents.

... when i found this lotion at Big Lots. It has some sentimental value to me - my grandmother sent me the cologne when i was a college student back in the Philippines.

Here she is with my grandfather. We fondly call them Papalo and Mamalo. Papalo has gone to heaven, or maybe he's babysitting her invisibly.
