Thank You

Tara of Days Missed on a Hammock gave me this award:

I need to pass it on, but I will get back to you on that.
Thank you Tara!
This is my thankful thursday entry...

I am also thankful that nothing so terrible has happened again, in our country, after 9/11. I dedicate this post in memory of those whose lives were lost and changed forever on this tragic day.

Thankful for Moments

I come across scenes, places, or moments that bring some peace and calm to my mind. Today I want to share with you pictures of these, some of which you may already have seen.

I have been to a special place called VANCOUVER. You all know where that is. Nine years ago, my aunt flew me there, to see me for a few days in between her days off, and the rest of my two week stay was a vacation i had with myself. At that time I had no digital camera, so I am unable to post my pictures. I found some pictures on the web but you'll have to click on the links below. Not sure if i can find all I want to show you.
It's the memories I am thankful for.
sitting on a bench in Stanley Park as I watched a family of turtles sunbathing at the Lost Lagoon
my visit to the Butchart Gardens and Victoria Island B.C.
walking on Robson Street
walking along the west end neighborhood, seeing all the Victorian homes and the flowers and trees, and people walking their dogs
and all the sights of my dream city, Vancouver, B.C.
I am also thankful for the beaches I've been to, especially the ones that are meaningful.
and in California,
Manhattan Beach
Newport Beach

Let me show you something...

HAPPY LABOR DAY!

The boys and I went here 4x this summer. On our first visit, i took pictures for you!

See Snow White resting after hanging the clothes outside. Then check out the seven dwarves' dining room:

I thought this was so cool:

and then i remembered you and took another picture of the nightstand:

Let's walk some more....

I do like the exterior paint of the crooked house. Don't you?

Let's walk some more...

Now, think about these...

couldn't keep her? Why on earth would you teach children that? LOL

Outside storybook forest are rides for kids and big kids, and a lake and a train ride, and Soakzone (where he's wet). If you happen to be in the Pittsburgh area, bring your kids to Idlewild, because it's so much different from Disney, Legoland, etc. There are so many trees, they have train rides, you can bring your own food in and picnic there...

For The Ladies

WHAT’S UP GIRL FRIEND????

One for the girls

Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord
my shape to keep.

Please no wrinkles, Please no bags

And please lift my butt before it sags.

Please no age spots, Please no gray

And as for my belly, Please take it away.

Please keep me healthy, Please keep me young,

And thank you Dear Lord, For all that you've done.

Five tips f or a woman....
1. It is important that a man helps you around the house and has a job.
2. It is important that a man makes you laugh.
3. It is important to find a man you can count on and doesn't lie to You.
4. It is important that a man loves you and spoils you.
5. It is important that these four men don't know each other!

Foot Note:
One saggy boob said to the other saggy boob:
"If we don't get some support soon, people will think we're nuts."

*Send this to five bright, funny women you know and make their day!!!

(I received this as an email from my favorite girlfriend in California)
