Friends. I have some pictures of a visit to the Phipps Botanical Garden and Conservatory which have been available for a while. Sorry it took so long for me to share them with you.
You can read more about it here.
I had so many mixed emotions that day...

Best Things In Life Are Free
Hello my faithful friends, I am back from our weekend trip to D.C. My Tito and Tita (Uncle and Aunt) from Georgia drove to D.C. for a baby shower so we took the opportunity to meet up at my cousins.' It was a nice sweet little reunion.
Here are some pictures of the pretty sights...
We stopped to stretch our bodies for a few minutes, in a small town in West Virginia.
I just love this picture. Feel free to download it, it's my present for you!
And a trip to Toys R Us for any toy he could grab, thanks to his Tito Adrian! Yay, more Thomas!
And how about some free laughs and rough-housing with his fellow Filipino-Irish cousin...

Happy? There's more...
And so our visit to D.C. was over. My toddler and I drove home to our man waiting for us at home. He wasn't the only one waiting. For in our backyard, I could see these:
(a view of our neighbor's property )

A few hours later, we made it to the I-495, or the 'beltway' in D.C. and stopped at a mall at Tysons Corner. Of course I had to take pictures of flowers.
Free play for my little happy camper.

It really wasn't a sight-seeing trip, but we squeezed in a drive and a few minutes of walking around the U.S. National Arboretum.

And last but not least, imagine my surprise when I went to check out the hostas in the hedge... one iris among a bunch that are about to bloom!
Thank you Lord...

Wonderful
Thank you to all of you who dropped by and wished me well. I am happy to report that I am close to being up and about 100%. Today I was able to drive (yay!) to the chiropractor, then to the mall for Julian's 'exercise' in the indoor playground.
Aside from you wonderful friends, I am thankful for my sister in law and nieces who drove for me and watched Julian when I couldn't. My niece Lauren, even gladly took pictures of my growing hostas... :)

It is still crowded, but so much better than the wilderness that it was last year.
Next year, It will be better.
My new GFF Sarah called to schedule a going out day or some mom time with our other neighbor Judy. Yay, I have a life! I am hoping we can go to tea in this victorian tea room nearby. I will update you ...It is great to feel good, to be healthy and able to do anything. This means that exercise has to be a part of my life now, to prevent that back flare-up in the future. May God help me with this resolution.
